WE OPERATE UNDER THE ASSUMPTIONS THAT:
We are settlers, living and working on Indigenous lands. The territory of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde includes the traditional lands of the Kalapooia, Luckiamute, Santiam, and Yamhill. We acknowledge them and any other Nations who care for the land as the past, present, and future caretakers.
We at Community Roots Counseling recognize that we simultaneously participate in and benefit from a system of ongoing colonial oppression, and that we have a responsibility to challenge this system.
